Workplace Violence Prevention Training

Our workplace violence prevention training helps employees recognize what counts as workplace violence, notice concerning behavior, report concerns early and stay safe. It builds a speak-up culture, showing employees that reporting a concern helps a struggling colleague get support early, rather than getting them into trouble.

The training is built on Cal/OSHA requirements and goes further, drawing on ASIS standards, ATAP guidance and federal research from the FBI and U.S. Secret Service, backed by our 20+ years of expertise in threat management and effective training.

Our 12-minute core course is for all employees. We keep it engaging through annual review and update it whenever your Plan changes. For clients wanting more depth, we can add interactive case studies, a scenario-based assessment, or a managers’ section or separate managers’ course.

Engaging animation and plain, everyday language make key points easy to grasp and remember, whatever an employee’s background or reading level. Unlike live-action videos some employees find distressing, our approach educates with care. The course is available in any language and meets WCAG accessibility standards.

Built around your program

The course is customized to your Workplace Violence Prevention Plan, hazards, reporting routes and contacts. Our specialists guide your legal, HR and security teams through the scripts, advise on what to change, and make every update, including whenever your Prevention Plan changes. The course is delivered as a SCORM file for your LMS.
